The Residential Home is in a complex to cater to the needs of elderly persons. Living in a community of like minded people to enjoy your days away. This will be modelled on the lines of such efficient and well run homes functioning abroad and will contain 38 compact, self contained and extremely comfortable apartments comprising a sitting cum dining room, a bedroom with attached bath and toilet, a kitchenette and a balcony. The complex will sit in spacious, well manicured and beautifully laid out gardens.

There will be plenty of facilities offered to residents including entertainment, a well stocked library, a recreational room and common dining hall. The aim will be to provide a vibrant, cheerful atmosphere where the residents can participate in an active social and community life if they so desire.

The aim is to preserve as much independance and dignity for individuals as possible and self catering is encouraged through the provision of well designed and thought out kitchennettes in all apartments. Cable TV facilities are icluded in the package. entertainments and functions or performances will be held at the home and day trips will be organised to the beach and other places of natural beauty, where residents can enjoy the great outdoors.

They will also be eligible for free upkeep and maintenance of their apartments. All they will have to pay is a nominal maintainence fee of 800 rupees per month to cover all their expenses and a nominal entrance fee for any paid shows or performances held at the Home.
