Luxury Retirement Apartments in Goa

The Herald Wrote

"General survey and selective feasibility studies were conducted among certain segments of the target groups in Goa (upper class, upper middle class and middle class), which revealed that there was an overwhelming response and support for a venture of this type. There are a number of homes for elderly residents in Goa but none of them comply with the criteria and needs of a niche segment of the market for the upper class,".

In addition to the hospice, the NRI couple (Mr Mendes and his wife Leonora) have also set up a trust known as the Road Accident Victims Trust at Verna to aid and assist victims of road accidents in Goa, as part of their social projects. Jerome Mendes has contributed to the development of the Shrimahalasa website highlighting the reconstruction of the temple at Old Mardol (Verna) and also contributed to the reconstruction of the cross at the site.

To conclude, the unique project of St. Anthony's Hospice seems to provide a better lifestyle to those senior citizens in Goa who lay stress on quality of life.
